SALAMANDER SELECT / SOURCE REVIEW
What the sources confirm. What needs an answer.
The prototype uses Salamander’s current product pages, the UNIFI brochure, and direct Canto documents. Every linked file below was downloaded for research. The open questions affect customer-facing dimensions, installation guidance, or drawing selection.
01 / HUDDLE LITE
Cafe height does not agree.
The current product page describes the cafe version as 40 inches. The UNIFI brochure, PDF page 5 says 39 inches. The 48 × 48 no-display drawing and 60 × 48 no-display drawing show a 38.00-inch overall dimension. The 48 × 48 drawing also carries a legacy WS40A title block.
Decision needed: Confirm the current model, nominal height, finished overall height, and whether tabletop material changes the number. The configurator and review videos currently say “cafe height” without a number.
02 / HUDDLE LITE
Display limits conflict.
The brochure, PDF page 9 gives a 110-pound Huddle Lite display limit. The single-mount assembly guide 501-735 says 175 pounds on its cover. Its capacity line names a different model. The prototype makes no Huddle Lite display-fit approval.
Decision needed: Engineering should name the current limit and guide for each exact single-mount model before a capacity filter or installation video is released.
03 / HUDDLE
Two exact assembly guides are missing.
The product page’s generic, single, and dual assembly labels lead to the same D1/338AM1 single-mount guide 501-710. The configurator attaches that guide only to D1/338AM1. It flags D1/338A and D1/338AM2 for drawing and guide review.
Decision needed: Provide current D1/338A and D1/338AM2 assembly instructions, or confirm in writing that 501-710 covers those models and which steps differ.
04 / MEETING
The 48 × 96 rectangle PDF link is mis-mapped.
The product page’s 48 × 96 rectangle PDF link leads to a 60 × 72 drawing. The separate 48 × 96 DXF has the expected size. The prototype withholds the mismatched PDF and marks this combination “Drawing check.”
Decision needed: Supply the correct 48 × 96 specification PDF and confirm the current standard-size matrix, including the 14-foot rectangle and half-boat drawings.
05 / RELEASE
Remaining release checks
- Confirm the current finish palette, accessory fit and inclusion by family.
- Confirm rights and exact model identity for product photos used on this Site and in the review videos.
- Set the quote destination and public release audience. Pricing and lead time are deliberately absent.
- Approve video narration and installation steps against the current assembly-guide revisions.
